The Nadesico escapes from pursuing warships and breaches Earths defensive shield in order to carry out a mission to rescue the surviving colonists from Mars.

September 2196 - 2 weeks after the Death of Jiro Yamada.

The Nadesico arrives on the Mars and defeats its outlying sentries.
The Death of the surviving Martian colonists.
The Martian Inez Fresange is rescued from the Jovians by the Nadesico.
The Frigate Crocus, believed to have been destroyed during the Nadesico's escape from Earth is located on Mars.
