The Virtual Reality room is another recreation area for the crew, it can be used to generate virtual games and romantic scenes for off duty crew members.

It is probable that the virtual reality room was originally intended for crew training and not for civilian leisure and recreation but has been included on the Nadesico as both a distraction from the confined environment onboard a warship, and as a means of providing training to members of the ships crew.
