While Inez and the crew use clips from other episodes to introduce the various locations and technologies onboard the ship, an episode is show from Akito's favorite Anime show.

Each officer or significant crew member introduces themselves or a different location on the ship, Seiya introduces the different types of Aestavalis, and elements of the show are introduced, while in the Anime an alien dictator attacks the hero's who use a variation on the distortion attack that one of the characters saw while watching Nadesico to defeat the villain and to save the Earth.
