Nadesico Episode 14

Seeing that the escaped pilot from the captured robot is loose onboard the Nadesico, Seiya hatches a plan to bait him with Anime products, the crew scatter all sorts of merchandise around the vessel.

The Jovian hides in Megumi's quarters, but cannot resist calling out when she beings to play a rare Anime disc from Jiro's collection. She sees that he is not actually a horrible alien as the Government has painted the Jovians, but is actually a human being. She introduces him to Minato and they try to smuggle him off of the Nadesico, but they are found by the engineers and he is captured.

Stranded on the moon, Akito is working with a local family in their restaurant, and staying in their home. He is happy there but is upset because he has discovered that Seelie was killed and he was not able to save her despite having traveled through time to before her death and was not able to contact the crew to warn her.

Suddenly the families home come under attack from the Jovian that Akito brought to the moon, the base there calls on Akito to fight the robot and he is taken to a secret construction facility where Nergal is building a new Nadesico class mobile battleship to use for them selves, and not in cooperation with the United Earth.

The crew in the construction facility give Akito a new type of Aestavalis, a heavy combat frame designed to work in conjunction with a standard Chassis. This new Aestavalis carries shield penetrating missiles, a high energy riffle and its own internal Phase Transition generator. Akito manages to defeat the robot, but as it escapes the pilot reads from a manual of heroic dialogue taken from ancient human Anime, Akito realizes that the Jovians are not aliens, but dissident Human beings.

The Jovian prisoner is taken to Mr. Prospector and Yurika, who discover that not only does he look human, but aside from a few minor genetic differences, he is a completely normal human being, Nagare takes the Jovian away to a secure location but as soon as they are in a deserted area of the Nadesico, he tells the Jovian that the general population can't be allowed to discover that he Jovians are really dissident Humans, and that if he should happen to try to escape, which he would say that he did, then he would shoot him. Before Nagare can murder the Jovian, Megumi intervenes and knocks Nagare out, but Jun discovers them and thinks that the Jovian is abducting her, forcing the Jovian to shoot him. Fortunately for Jun, the Jovian isn't trying to kill him, and suffers only a minor injury.

Megumi and Minato escape in a Jovian shuttle, built as a component of the robot, Akito and the pilots are sent follow, believing that he has abducted Megumi and Minato. The pilots follow the Jovian to the edge of Jovian controlled space.
