Tenkawa Family

 Background

The Tenkawa's were a family of civilian scientists who lived in the Utopia colony on Mars until their murder.

The Tenkawa's lived with their son Akito on Mars, employed as scientists for Nergal, it was thought that the entire family was killed in an explosion in 2185, though it was later shown that their son survived and become a cook in the Utopia colony. Little is known of them, but they lived in the same complex as Admiral Misumaru and his daughter Yurika, and their children played with each other.

Akito's father worked as a scientist for Nergal and was murdered by the companies chief because he wanted to use Boson technology freely while Nergal wanted to keep the technology for its of ends. The Death of the Tenkawa family was not seen as being murder until 2198 when the chief of Nergal revealed that his father had ordered the deaths of the family. It is not known who murdered the Tenkawa's for the company.

It was while biding farewell to Yurika as her parents moved to Earth that Akito escaped the explosion which killed his family.

Akito was in the Utopia colony shelter when the Jovian forces attacked, slaughtering the civilian population. He escaped the Jovian Invasion but does not now how. 

It was later discovered that Akito's' father gave him a Chulip crystal when he was very young, and that it had saved his life during the attack on Mars by teleporting him, and a young girl known then as Ai out of a civilian bomb shelter that was overrun by invading robots. In 2196 Akito was employed as a fry chef in a diner on Earth but left because of the Jovian attacks on the city,  he then joined Nergal as a cook after meeting with Yurika.
